The Dashboards section provides visual analytics across the supply chain - historical performance, spend patterns, geographic distribution, and calendar-based trend views.

Historical Analytics

Navigation: Dashboard → Historical Analytics

Shows historical sales and procurement trends based on closed/archived orders. Use this for period-over-period performance review.

Sections:

Section Description
Sales Orders Summary Order count, customer count, and total value for the selected period
Purchase Orders Summary Order count, supplier count, and total spend for the selected period
Demand Quantity / Revenue by Customer Sales volume per customer; click to see items sold to that customer
Procurement Quantity / Spend by Supplier Purchase volume per supplier; click to see items from that supplier
Demand Quantity / Revenue by Item Sales volume per item; click to see which customers ordered it
Procurement Quantity / Spend by Item Purchase volume per item; click to see which suppliers provided it
Demand / Revenue Trend Sales trend line for a selected item, by aggregation period
Procurement / Spend Trend Purchase trend line for a selected item, by aggregation period

Spend Analysis

Navigation: Dashboard → Spend Analysis

Detailed breakdown of procurement spend, designed to support cost analysis and supplier negotiations.

View Description
Procurement / Spend by Item Spend per item; click to see cost/unit and units purchased at each price point
Procurement / Spend by Supplier Spend per supplier; click to see items, then drill to cost/unit detail

Both views link to the Procurement by Price modal, which shows the full price history for an item-supplier combination.

World Map

Navigation: Dashboard → World Map

Displays the geographic locations of all suppliers, customers, and warehouses on an interactive world map. Click any marker to drill into the underlying data for that location.

Navigation: Dashboard → Trends

A calendar-based heat map showing supply chain activity across all transaction types.

Categories to select from:

Category What it shows
Procurement Purchase order activity by day
Demand Sales order activity by day
Manufacturing Manufacturing order activity by day
Forecast Forecast quantity by day
Ending Inventory Projected inventory position - red days = at least one item projected to run out of stock

Ending Inventory drill-down:

  1. Click a red day to see all items with transactions on that day
  2. Click any item to see all transactions for that item in chronological order up to that date

This view uses the same Heat Map logic as the Planning and Scenario Analysis screens.

Procurement Patterns

Shows purchasing trends that help identify sourcing habits and co-purchasing patterns:
