Inventory Integration

The Inventory integration imports current stock levels from your WMS or ERP into Knosc automatically on a scheduled basis. It can also be triggered manually from the Current Inventory screen.

Triggering the Integration

The integration runs on an automated schedule configured per instance. To run it immediately, click Run Integration in the Current Inventory toolbar.

Integration Behaviour

  • Inventory is replaced (not appended) on each run - the system reflects the current stock snapshot from the source system
  • Inactive warehouses are excluded from the import; attempting to import inventory for an inactive warehouse generates a notification
  • If the source system does not deduct shipped orders from inventory until invoicing, Knosc can be configured to subtract shipped sales orders from the imported inventory automatically, ensuring the planning view reflects true available stock

Unit of Measure Conversion

All inventory quantities are converted to the standard planning unit of measure using the Unit Master. This ensures inventory, purchase orders, sales orders, and forecasts are all expressed in the same unit for planning calculations.
